Finding a Professional

How do I find someone near me?

Use the search box to choose a profession and enter a town, area or postcode prefix. You can narrow results by country, category and whether the professional works online, in person or both.

Can I contact a professional through FitProSearch?

Yes. Open a profile and use the enquiry form. Your message is stored securely and sent to the professional when email delivery is configured. Some profiles may also show booking links, websites or phone details.

Does FitProSearch recommend or guarantee professionals?

No. FitProSearch is a search and profile platform, not a professional regulator. Profiles, qualifications, insurance notes and reviews can help you decide who to contact, but you should still ask your own questions before booking.

Why are some profiles marked as featured?

Featured profiles are given higher placement in relevant search results. The label is shown clearly, and featured placement does not mean FitProSearch has independently endorsed that professional.

Can I report something that looks wrong?

Yes. Use the report option on a profile if details look inaccurate, misleading, abusive or privacy-sensitive. Reports are reviewed by an admin.

Profiles, Reviews and Trust

Are listings checked before they go public?

New listings and profile edits can be held for admin review before publication. Pending, rejected or suspended profiles are not shown in public search results.

What do reviews mean?

Reviews are visitor-submitted and can be moderated before publication. They are one useful signal, but they should not be treated as a complete background check.

What does a verification note mean?

A verification or insurance note is profile information that may help visitors ask better questions. Unless a profile states otherwise, you should confirm current qualifications, insurance and availability directly with the professional.

For Professionals

How do I add my profile?

Use Add your listing to create a professional profile. You can include your profession, service area, profile details, logo or profile photo, qualifications, specialisms and preferred contact route.

Why is my listing pending?

Pending means your listing or latest edit is waiting for admin review. Public visitors will only see the approved version of your profile.

Can I update my details later?

Yes. Sign in to your account, edit your listing and submit the changes. If the edit needs review, the current public profile stays live until the new version is approved.

Can I ask for featured placement?

Yes. Featured placement is currently handled manually by an admin. Payment and subscription upgrades are planned separately, so there is no automated checkout on the site yet.

How do I access, correct or remove my data?

Use the data request form to ask for access, correction, export or deletion. Requests are reviewed before action is taken so that account and listing ownership can be checked.
